Marcel is director of the Goudse Academie, a continuing education provider based in the Netherlands offering courses in, among other alternative fields, auriculotherapy and Auricular Medicine — including courses presenting the work of Dr. Frank Bahr.

Marcel Meijer is a physician and acupuncturist, homeopath and counselor. He has a consultative practice in Wierden, Netherlands. 

He followed the acupuncture training at the Dutch Doctors Acupuncture Association (NAAV) where he also gained his main teaching experience. His teaching experience includes training of  Auriculotherapy at the SNO (NAAV Education Foundation) for 15 years, and instructing anatomy and pathology at the Hocht in Enschede, Netherlands, before that.
