Clinical Practicum is an opportunity to complete your learning process by integrating your German Auricular Medicine Level II training. Apply what you have learned by developing and discussing your own patient case studies.
This Level II clinical practicum also offers the opportunity for further professional recognition (see certification FAQs). Have you completed Level II: Clearing Blockages to Healing? If so, you are ready to earn Level II Certification through this clinical practicum.
Details
You will be required to submit 5 case reports that follow a single patient for 4 clinic visits. Once posted, your instructor will review and provide specific feedback.
The database is searchable and allows participants to research the entire database of student case reports. Case supervision includes email discussions with your instructor for case review, and the possibility for occasional small group Q&A sessions.

- Dates: Register and begin anytime
- Access: Course access is available for a period of 16 weeks after registration
- Location: Online
- Course Type: Online with instructor support
- Pre-Requisites: "Level I Certification" and "Level II: Clearing Blockages to Healing"
- CEUs/PDAs: 30 CEUs approved by NCCAOM
- Provided: Link and a key to enter Moodle platform where you will have access to the clinical practicum case studies data base. Here, you can upload cases and view the case work of fellow students. You will have instructor support and case supervision via email. With positive review of your completed practicum, you will earn Level I CIAM Certification.
- Bonus Resource: Demonstration video featuring Dr. Beate Strittmatter reviewing the methods for clearing blockages
- Required Materials: Computer with high-speed internet access and applicable Java, QuickTime and Adobe software

Lisa Weleschuk, TCMD is a CIAM teacher trained instructor of German Auricular Medicine. Her practice, which is Auricular Medicine-based, as well as her clinical practicum case work with CIAM, offers years of deep clinical insight to support your case work.
