In a study to assess the immediate effects of auricular acupuncture on electromyographic activity of the upper trapezius muscle and pain in non-specific neck pain patients, the immediate effect of auricular acupuncture interventions on the electromyographic activity of the upper trapezius muscle showed positive results.
